Why the library built this
The Central Library is more than a place to find books. It is a space for discovery, learning, research and connection. Library Engage exists because the skills that make a library useful knowing which database to open, how to phrase a search, how to keep references in order are rarely taught directly. They are easier to pick up through practice than through instruction.
Each challenge is built around a decision a student or research scholar actually faces. The answer is never the end of a question: every response is followed by an explanation of why it is right and a practical tip you can use the next time you search. Every completed set of challenges can be turned into an e-certificate of participation.
Visit the Central Library website for services, collections, e-resources and contact details.
